Should parents smoke around their children?

It's not a good idea for several reasons. Children are more likely to smoke if their parents smoke. Secondhand smoke can cause health problems for children later in life.

There's still a lot of debate about how harmful secondhand smoke is, but most people agree that children's lungs are still developing, so they are more at risk from exposure to smoking.
